indoor clothes drying rack - lazydays - 12-28-2010

I've taken over the clothes washer and dryer and the biggest challenge I've found so far is ow to try the many clothes that cannot go into the dryer. Pants and sweaters seem to be the most common things that need to be hung on shower curtain rods, but I simply don't have enough space. I could split the loads into multiple days of course but I thought I'd ask what everyone's favorite clothes drying rack is. Thanks.

I spent a little time on google and a little time at amazon but I find this group of people has insights that I find far more valuable most of the time.

I've thought about buying a few more of those expanding shower curtain rods. Then I could hang a LOT of stuff in the shower and when not it use it would just be a bunch of rods in a corner.

I picked up a nice one at Costco a few months ago. I think it was about $20.

I put things in the dryer for just a few minutes, then hang to dry and they dry faster/overnight or less seems to do it.

I also dry some things on ultra low and take out just before dry to avoid shrinkage.

I pay small children in candy & caffeine (with a little meth to keep them concentrating) to stand still for
hours until each piece is dry. Every time one gets fidgety, I show Michael Vick news clips in HD, and tell
them "That's your real parents!"

$20 goes a long way.

The expert here on clothes lines is Laaree. I have paged him for input.
