A risk taker dies from risky behavior. As does his passenger. I expect that ER doctors everywhere hope that this means the production of these sort of dangerous stunt encouragement videos will somehow end.
I don't think so, but.... The young male ethos has a lot of room for "Hey guys.. watch this" in it.

For having gone through all he has, Ebert knows what it's like to have an appreciation for life. I applaud him for his commentary and the shame of it is that this idiot isn't around to deal with the fact he in effect murdered his passenger.

I'm sorry for any family he may have had but it's really difficult for me to care a whole lot, since he didn't seem to care himself whether he lived or died. As for Ebert, well, the truth hurts sometimes.

I wonder how much they enjoy this kind of work---him driving very fast on a public road marked as 35/45mph and possibly drunk---seeing as how that behavior isn't too far out of line from his professional behavior.
Glad he didn't kill anyone besides the person who didn't have enough sense to avoid being his passenger, assuming Dunn wasn't doing the driving.
This story has Darwin Award all over it, the Law of Averages and even Fate too.
