I thought this was about the debate.

Do I still need to answer this with a spoiler alert?

The last time someone posted information that was widely available just about everywhere, some people got into a snit.

Glad to see the Giants back in the series. :woot:

I'm looking forward to the series. Giant's flags are everywhere. Yards are decorated.

How sad they will be after the Giants are swept by the Tigers...

The Rangers in 2010 were the "team to beat" and they were shut down in 5. If the Giants can get past the starters (yes, not an easy task), the Tigers bullpen is very touchable.

Yes, the Tigers can't keep relying on their bullpen to carry the day. The bats finally woke up in Game 4 against the Yanks and they need to continue that. The Giants have already shown they can come back...

Though my dad has been gone for over forty years, he was born and raised in Detroit, before moving to San Francisco after WWII. I was born in SF, and was a happy camper when my favorite player, Willie Mays, and the Giants moved west. This series has been several lifetimes in the making. Listening to the Giants' games when I was a kid, gave my dad ample time to regale stories of Hank Greenberg, the original "Hebrew Hammer", his favorite hometown player while growing up. We had several years together rooting for a Giants-Tigers series that never happened.
2012.
This is special.
