True enough but this was taken this morning in MO, where I'm visiting family for a time. Hey Rhon, my grass needs cutting by now. Think you could? Eh, nevamind.
No clue what that's there for, but apparently it's easier to keep replacing the signs than it is to bust up the concrete.

Everyplace should have a snow plow with a salt spreader , even if it is only used once every twenty years.

Probably a green space tree pit.
Very poorly implemented one. Likely met code requirements at the time.
Probably had pretty flowers in it for the grand opening of the strip mall/whatever too.

Seen one similar yesterday just outside of town on the interstate exit ramp. The "Do Not Enter" sign was bent badly from a collision. Roads have been completely dry and snow free for weeks! :-)

They're supposed to plant trees (foliage) in them in an effort to allow rainwater to percolate down into the soil because the pavement may or may not be permeable. That looks like the developer pretended to do so. Do they still use the term, "Cool Communities" in Atlanta?
