In spite of the short memory by the press and apparent historical ignorance by the police, this is not the first time our militarized police has used bombing as a way to deal with uncooperative civilians....

PHILADELPHIA, May 13— A state police helicopter this evening dropped a bomb on a house occupied by an armed group after a 24-hour siege involving gun battles.
A 90-minute shootout this morning came after a week of growing tension between the city and the group, known as Move. Residents in the western Philadelphia neighborhood had complained about the group for years. The only known survivors from within the house were a woman and a child.
The fire spread to 50 to 60 other houses in the neighborhood, said the Fire Commissioner, William Richmond.

The internet has worked this topic over pretty extensively in the last 24 hours. There's nothing to say that hasn't already been said in the 58,800 results that Googling will give you. Including the fact that the Move bomb was not sent in by a robot, which is why the claim that this was the first use of a robotic system by police in a deliberately lethal manner as opposed using one to detonate a found explosive is, in fact, true.
The MOVE bombing was so horrible, cruel, and stupid that it is not really a good thing to compare it to sending in a robot to kill one dangerous individual. The use of the robot bomb makes me queasy inside but let's not diminish the absolute horror of the MOVE bombing by comparing it to this recent incident.

Given the number of recent confusions you've expressed on both sides of this forum with other people's posts your confusion with this one is contextually understandable.
Maybe a third or fourth grade level remedial refresher course in reading comprehension will help with your confusion.

That thread had dealt with possible revolt against police repression, for the clueless, above, this OP is dealing with use of purely military tactics in police type situations and the typical consequences.
The delivery system on which $tevie is hanging her hat is immaterial, they could have delivered it on a donkey or by a Hellfire missile, the use of high explosives that kill everything in given radius, with an intent to kill everything in the given radius is what makes the difference.
