The refurb MBP arrived yesterday; I opened it today, and it's pristine in the original white Apple refurb box, with one battery cycle, and it's eligible for AppleCare!

Same seller had 2015 27" 1 TB fusion drive Retina iMacs for $1299. Sold out fast.

Yups. I believe OWC has a solution for it. Not cheap, though. A 1TB replacement SSD is $699 or so.

It's not a 2.5" SSD, it's a flash based pcie format drive -- capable of 2000 MB/s -- 4x the speed of a 2.5" SSD.

$699 last time I checked. At least I remember it being $699. Broke the $700 mark if you wanted the bundle with the enclosure for the original OEM SSD.
