I ordered one, nearly as cheap a replacement battery. I bought one just like 2 weeks ago for our TV for $47.
Just ordered another one for our son as only half of his APC 550 is working. It's a discontinued
model that's been around for quite a while. The first one I ordered with slow free shipping on a Wed.
afternoon and had the next Monday morning. I can't get that kind of service from Amazon FSSS anymore.

I don't know. I saw your post and that's what reminded me to post the deal. When I ordered the first one
there was a link right on Newegg to chat with Cyberpower and I asked why they had been reduced so much
and they said it was a discontinued model but was still a good unit. I'll see what I can find out.

I switched from APC to Cyberpower when my APC died a few months ago. But I needed a bigger unit... I have a Mac Pro, two 30" monitors and a 4-bay backup drive unit connected.

Well now color me annoyed. Despite getting emails from Newegg every 2-4 days, my email was not eligible for this promo code. So I signed up, which no doubt means I'll be getting ADDITIONAL emails from them, but I'm still not eligible for this promo...

You would get maybe 5 minutes at most with that load. A bigger unit, might get you 30 minutes. I have my media system on a CyberPower 900w tower - it gives me ~30 minutes

I use a pair of needle-nose pliers to pop the piezo beeper right off the board.

It might not work at all for a sump pump. Sump pumps draw a lot of current when they start up and a smaller UPS like this may very well just decide it's in an overload condition.
