This old Conservative still supports the UAW... - DP - 08-27-2018 ![]() Lease is up on the Mazda and the wife needed more room for her business. Got A/Z Plan from my brother and good deals all over the place... Re: This old Conservative still supports the UAW... - Forrest - 08-27-2018 As a Ford stock holder - thanks for your choice. Re: This old Conservative still supports the UAW... - Don C - 08-27-2018 Workers at the Louisville Ford Truck Plant thank you for your choice too. Re: This old Conservative still supports the UAW... - mrbigstuff - 08-27-2018 We have been a Ford family (for the trucks now, anyway) for more than 60 years. And, yes, anything to help that F stock - jeesh! Re: This old Conservative still supports the UAW... - macphanatic - 08-27-2018 Congrats. Hope you enjoy it as much as l like my 2016 F-150. Re: This old Conservative still supports the UAW... - mattkime - 08-27-2018 What kind of business? Re: This old Conservative still supports the UAW... - Speedy - 08-27-2018 Congrats! Unions are good for all of us. Re: This old Conservative still supports the UAW... - Michael - 08-27-2018 I went from my 10 yo Ranger to a Tacoma 3 years ago after owning Rangers for 35 years. I'm anxiously awaiting the debut of the new Ranger. The F trucks are just bigger than I want/need. The one benefit I'll get is the resale value of Tacoma's is pretty high. Re: This old Conservative still supports the UAW... - DP - 08-27-2018 It's got the amazing Ecoboost 2.7L V6: 325HP, 400 ft/lbs of torque! 164 cubic inches (for all of you who remember cubic inches) that cranks out 325 horses and still gets 24 mpg highway on a 4x4 vehicle... And, as far as coincidences go, the paint is called Leadfoot which is what I call my wife! It's a new for '18 color and my pic doesn't do it justice. I'd call it Battleship or Gunmetal Gray. What kind of business? She rehabs houses in low income neighborhoods for people who need a house that's easy on the rental payment but doesn't want to settle for a decrepit house that is owned by someone that lives in Los Angeles and doesn't care about upkeep of their property. A real problem in our town. Our city is working on it but we also have a lot of other problems to solve here, and, at this point in time, doesn't have all the resources it needs... The Mazda CX-5 just didn't have enough space for hauling, albeit a very nice car that served us well. It did a wonderful job on our two week Out West trip. Still driving a 2007 and looking forward to the new incarnation, even tough it looks about the size of an F150 from 30 years ago. |
