I think Moviepass did push AMC to develop their own discount service. I really enjoy $6 Tuesday tickets - which is a big reduction in the $11.50 typical adult price. There's no sign-up fee or cost associated with being a Stubs member.

The more extensive AMC Stubs A-List costs $23.95 per month and will get you tickets for up to 3 movies per week.
