Car floor mats? - M A V I C - 03-01-2022 I want to buy some all weather floor mats for my car. It's a three row SUV - VW Atlas. The OE all weather ones seem pretty good and the only complaint is that they are hard to clean. I have a pressure washer and I'm fine pulling them out a couple times a year and spraying them down. There's a lot of companies out there making floor mats these days. Weathertech does have their "laser" measured ones, but I hear they're slippery. I've googled a bunch and clicked on some ads. I haven't found any I really like. What are some of your favorite brands? Re: Car floor mats? - Z - 03-01-2022 I've got rubber Lloydmats https://lloydmats.com/ in most all my cars. Recommended. Go to Featured Vehicles -> Truck/SUV -> choose one of the styles and then enter year/make/model. For the very first style of mat, they show options for the Atlas. I didn't check any of the other styles. Re: Car floor mats? - FormerlySaleenl - 03-01-2022 I've had Weathertech Floorliner HPs for the past 4 months or so and I really like them. Not slippery in my estimation, they stay in place, huge improvement over the OEM all weather from Subaru. Re: Car floor mats? - Yoyodyne ArtWorks - 03-01-2022 I’ve had good luck with Maxpider mats in my VW Golf, here’s some stuff for the Atlas: https://www.amazon.com/3D-MAXpider-L1VW08831509-All-Weather-Volkswagen/dp/B07F942N9K/ref=sr_1_5?crid=1KPHUFPUTJCN7&keywords=maxpider+floor+mats+vw+atlas&qid=1646165216&sprefix=maxpider+floor+mats+vw+atlas%2Caps%2C163&sr=8-5 Re: Car floor mats? - M A V I C - 03-01-2022 Pat wrote: Hmmm, nothing for VW. I'm not sure what they'll actually look like or how they'll fit. I have yet to figure out what it is. I think it might be that the front passenger mat doesn't have built-in fasteners. Re: Car floor mats? - M A V I C - 03-01-2022 FormerlySaleenl wrote: Thanks. Weathertech has been around for a while so I've been confused on why people say they're slippery. Seems like that's the sort of thing they would have dialed in. After email notification of revised shipping dates (1/3, 1/18, then finally 2/2, I said to hell with it and bought a set of Smartliner mats for $81 that arrived less than a week after I ordered them. I still like the Maxpiders better, but I like these better than my wife's Weathertechs which were a bit more costly. |
