Just inherited some 1" and 1/2" pieces. I don't own a planer or a jointer however.

Approx 6" to 8" width by 3 - 4 ft. Some are 1" some are 5/4 and 6/4.
I was thinking trim if I slice them, but I have no need for it at the moment. Possibly moulding.

A friend laminates quality hardwood planks like that and makes phenominal rifle stocks out of the blanks. They never warp or twist.
I have 4 or 5 of his right now. more of collecting wooden functional sculptures at this point.
