Got my first OWC catalog yesterday. Where have these been? - Mini 9 - 03-04-2010

I have purchased from OWC and never received a catalog like this before as a CUSTOMER.
However, I got one sealed/wrapped in plastic along with a subscribed-to magazine.

That catalog makes me want to buy some new stuff. Lots of great photos and details on stuff I never really thought much of having only surfed/browsed the OWC/Macsales webpage in the past.

Wish I had been getting these sooner.

?? You're just talking about kind of an extensive sale flyer, about the size of a Crutchfield catalogue, right? I've received those before.
Maybe you're not getting all your mail?

The only mail I don't get are the ones in Spanish. (hahaha I crack myself up)

Seriously, how does one know if they are not getting all their mail?

Actually, I've thought about this before. Not from just the "am I getting it at all" angle, But from the "I wonder how service varies day to day". If I were to drop a postcard in the mail at the same place and same time everyday, addressed TO my own mailbox(es), would I find that FIFO, or a mix of intertwined crap; some being complete and utter failure of delivery?

I would assume that dropping a postcard in the mail in the afternoon - night, at the USPS office from whence my mail's final stop is before being delivered to my box, would show me how well my particular local 'post' is doing, perhaps my particular carrier as a large percentage of that, as well?

I guess I'll have to request a Crutchfield thingy to make the call on if it is similar or not.

Never got one either, although I appreciate not having to deal with another catalog or mail advertisement.

Well, I really like(d) this one. Again, I would have thought my perusing via the web would fulfill my needs. But the manner with which the items are presented double my interest in them, I would say. I spent many minutes perusing each face-to-face page when opened. Reading details of items I would have skimmed over on the web.

I've received catalogs from OWC a few times.

I also occasionally receive catalogs from Dell too. I don't know why since I've never bought anything from Dell.

I have bought three Dells. I get their catalogs all the time.
They are not that interesting past the 'see what the competition has' type task.
OWC's really cranked me up. I like it.

I don't recall getting these either, but I'm with ya' when it comes to the value of printed media. It ain't dead yet.

I wish I could stop the flow of the many catalogs.
Many have listened to us, but some just don't f'in' get it.
If I need something, I know where to find it.
A catalog 4 times a year would suffice for most stuff.
Sierra sends us 2 a week. Dunno how they make profit.

I get one or two a year of the OWC catalog. Nice to look at, but basically useless to me since I just go online and look at their stuff anyway.
