[quote herbiesyufy][quote elmo3][quote herbiesyufy]Some people, like Elmo, DO get a "free" cup for water and fill it with Coke.
Are you AGAIN accusing me of being a thief? Are you AGAIN threatening the very existence of this board and of OWC?

For the record, I have asked for a cup for ice water and then filled it with anything *but* ice water.

For you to claim otherwise is for you (and this board) to accept responsibility for accusations you will then have to prove in a court of law.
What about the accusation of you being a prick? Do we have to prove that in a court of law too, or can we just agree to agree?
Keep digging.

Did you ever wonder why a half-dozen or so of your posts to this thread yesterday were pulled within minutes?

I don't know for a fact, but I expect you got some sort of a spanking for your behavior. Next comes....???

I dunno...the oral sex?

[quote Baby Tats][quote herbiesyufy]Well, $tevie, I already USED the example of people buying the 1-ounce shot of espresso and filling the remaining 19-ounce Venti cup with milk, but nobody really understood.

Somehow the "thousand packets of ketchup" just resonated. And the fact is, you CAN'T take a thousand packets of ketchup, because most fast food joints had to take away those "free" condiments due to abuse of the system.

You don't see the difference between using condiments and taking a thousand packets of ketchup home to use later? The world must be an awfully confusing place for you, huh?

It isn't that nobody understood you. Not agreeing and not understanding are two entirely different things.

Well, as long as we both understand! That's great.

Put me down as thinking that buying one shot of espresso with the intention of taking 19 ounces (which is HUGE, btw) of milk or half-and-half is deceptive and unethical. NOT illegal. Just sort of scum-baggy.

Since you are implying that you don't agree, I'll put you down as thinking it's okay to "beat the system" and scam Starbucks out of some "free" milk. And be sort of scum-baggy.

Fair enough?

Perhaps I simply have more important things to think about than who is getting away with too much Free Dairy. Having never in my entire life seen anyone gyp Starbucks out of 19 ounces of precious precious milk, I don't even know that this is anything more than a fevered dream of some over-caffeinated barista. You have blown this so far out of proportion that you are just at Loony Tunes Level at this point.

Well, you do bring up a couple of interesting points:

1) For someone with so many important things to think about, you sure are posting in here a lot!

2) You're right: you HAVE no first-hand experience, unlike the baristas who created this tempest-in-a-Venti cup. Maybe you should wait and comment on those important thoughts you claim to have, and let the experts battle this one out!

Thanks for playing, though.

You mean the $7.75/hour power-tripping Starbucks employees who think they know better than corporate?

Nope...I wasn't making a value judgment. I was just saying that they are THERE, watching the dirtbags steal milk.
