Many or most may suck, but there are also some great public servants vying for and serving in public office, and to not vote for their election or re-election is to willfully participate in the failing of the "free" election process.

Yeah, I know. I usually pick and choose the ones I actually feel like I know pretty well, but I couldn't do it this time. It seems to get worse every year. Neither side represents any of my interests, it seems. kj.

I think you're going to have to admit that your expectation that pursuing military action against an enemy of the state is something that can only be done by "the right" is kind of an odd personal perception you've developed and is not a view most would agree with.
I absolutely respect your individuality though.
