I have an iPad 2 and use MyWi just fine with it, when I need to. How are they going to text me on that?

Unlimited data plan and I have zero concerns about a surprise huge bill/charge. Even if I did, I would fight it and win.

I do have a Verizon iPhone and also have utilized it on that with zero issues. I don't use either of the tethering regularly (I still have a Sprint 3G card w/CradlePoint routers), but it is nice to know I am able to set up shop somewhere, if need be.

Even if you don't want to pay for the 3G service (that month, etc.), if you enable it you will always have location (GPS) services at no cost - that is a nice plus for getting a 3G model, as well.

GPS is worth the extra cash. And you will get the money back when you sell it.
