I did a wedding at The Sunset, Zuma Beach, in Malibu yesterday. The High water mark was only 40 feet from the road.
for beach weddings, they run out a walkway, put down a floor and a stage on the sand. The walkway was 16 feet shorter than normal, otherwise the wedding party would have been in the surf at high tide!
The waves were bigger than I have ever seen them there. From My vantage point, it looked like they were cresting over the ceremony!
