Re: Anyone buy Woolrich shirts? - IronMac - 11-12-2011 I've worn LLBean chamois shirts for well over a decade and used a couple during my days with UPS sort. Highly recommend them! Re: Anyone buy Woolrich shirts? - Spock - 11-12-2011 Try a Viyella Shirt if you can afford one or two, you won't be disappointed. Re: Anyone buy Woolrich shirts? - SteveO - 11-13-2011 This is all great stuff and thanks very much, guys. Robert, my chamois and flannel shirts perform the same duty, an overshirt in cold weather. I had wondered about Lands End and Bean, I will check these out as well as the others named, thanks again, all. Joe, yeah I had same "huge" issue with my first order which was only a size L...had to send them back as they were almost tentlike on my frame. The stuff about Woolrich licensing their name out makes sense, too. Maybe I did get a tall version all those years ago, who knows. I bought these latest ones from Campmor and I think they will take them back even though it's been several months. What a shame. I did send Woolrich an email expressing my deep displeasure, we'll see what they respond. FWIW, I bought a couple of chamois shirts from Kohl's (house brand) last year with about the same results. Probably made at same place. Ack. I guess quality is in short supply these days. Re: Anyone buy Woolrich shirts? - OWC Jamie - 11-13-2011 LLBean isn't quite as good as they used to be either for shirt quality and size variances. Re: Anyone buy Woolrich shirts? - SteveO - 11-13-2011 Bean's chamois shirts have 700+ reviews, most quite positive it seems. But quality can vary year in and year out with anyone I guess. I just read a LE review on their chamois that said this year they changed the material to a very light one vs. last year's. Bummer! I think I'm still gonna try one, though. Need to check out that Moose and Duluth now...the Viyella is quite a little more than I like to spend on a shirt, but looks nice!
