Well, Tom Davis is dead so that's not really an amusing wisecrack, to me anyhow.

Sorry. It was totally meant to be an amusing wisecrack.

Even in his present condition, he could still write better than anyone on that show today.

And Al Franken? He lights up Congress.

Re: SNL debate spoof - Black - 10-22-2012

I'm sure $tevie had no clue that Al Franken is a congressman.

Odd that more than one person has praised the Pandora skit.

Of course it was never meant to be anything more than a vehicle to showcase Bruno's considerable talent and versatility, but still, the way it was carried out was so stoopid it made my head hurt a little.

Guess I have no sense of humor....

No. It was bad.

But unlike everything else in the show, there was a teeny tiny redeeming feature.

Senator.

"Congressman" usually refers to a member of the House.

Re: SNL debate spoof - $tevie - 10-22-2012

I donated to Al Franken's campaign and get his email updates: some of them are quite funny, occasionally very sweet, all of them are interesting. Been there, done that, bought the t-shirt (literally).

That too.
