No, that really is another cable behind the one he's on, which is about halfway up the telephone pole. That blurry cable is a thin line at the very top of the pole, a good 12 or 15 feet away. Just an awkward angle. I didn't think this photo was worth the effort to clone it out. Had I been closer and the hawk on a more natural perch, I probably would.

It's a great shot. There is "nothing" wrong with the wire. There are billions of shots of Hawks in their natural habitats. The wire adds context and interest. Even the shadow of the talon is cool.
