They still use the stiff plastic. http://www.fijiwater.com/ The square sides make it look classy too ![]() Re: Okay, I'd like your thoughts on a reusable water bottle. - the_poochies - 01-16-2013 I've used these bottles for a few years. Yes, they stand up, even when they are mostly empty. http://vapur.us/ For stainless steel bottles, I picked up a few of these for $5: http://www.sierratradingpost.com/liberty-bottle-works-water-bottle-24-floz-screw-top-bpa-free~p~4168h/?filterString=s~liberty-bottle%2F&colorFamily=73 Re: Okay, I'd like your thoughts on a reusable water bottle. - particleman - 01-16-2013 I have a Klean Kanteen. Very durable and fairly light. The aluminum bottles are lighter but they usually have a liner which seems like an area prime for premature failure. No need for a liner in stainless steel bottles. Also, even though the Klean Kanteen bottle is made in China, they claim to audit the manufacturing process. http://www.kleankanteen.com/faqs/faqs.php Another option, although of aluminum construction, is Liberty Bottleworks which are made in the USA. I also have a 32 oz one that I use as a small beer growler. http://libertybottles.com/Liberty_Shop_Collections.asp Sierra Trading Post has some from $5. http://www.sierratradingpost.com/liberty-bottle-works-water-bottle-24-floz-screw-top-bpa-free~p~4168h/?utm_source=GooglePLAs&utm_medium=PaidShopping&utm_term=Liberty_Bottle_Works_Water_Bottle_-_24_FlOz_Screw_Top_Bpa-Free&utm_campaign=PCGOOGLEP3&codes-processed=true Re: Okay, I'd like your thoughts on a reusable water bottle. - mikebw - 01-16-2013 I have the 24oz Contigo Autoseal that is hands down the best water bottle I have ever used. Features one hand operation, you just squeeze the back and the valve opens up, no lid to lose! ![]() No weird hose to drink from. BFA free. No metal taste, very durable, won't dent. And the handle doubles as a clip you can put around a bag strap or whatever. I actually drink more water now because of how easy this thing is to use. They also make an 18 oz version - http://www.gocontigo.com/autoseal-martinique-double-wall-insulated-water-bottle.html ![]() Re: Okay, I'd like your thoughts on a reusable water bottle. - onthedownlow - 01-16-2013 Bobble. : ) |
