I'm just glad we have a censor.

I'm kind of surprised there was a need for this.

Spock,

That has not been reported and was not seen until now. And is now corrected.

Thank you-

Well, I'm glad MRF is doing this banning stuff. There is one Mac news site I used to visit several times a day, but posters started getting so vile calling each other names with terrible profanity. I solve that kind of thing easily - hey, I stopped going to that site.

Me old ears have heard it all, and used to say some of it. Being a combat Vietnam vet, yep, I don't need nary cussin' nor nasty talk on me forums. Like the young'uns say, been there, done that. Ain't gonna tolerate it on nary forum. I will tolerate a bit 'o bad English.Confusedmiley-rpg028:

Thanks for the patrolling, I've not had any trouble with admin here.

The only kind of circumvention I've had to do is when I ran across a surprising word - like the normal name for cookies made in the shape of animals.

Now, back to our regularly scheduled programming!

Hey, we should make our own member list of words to ban, and vote on them.

Like "hosed", and "bricked", to name only two candidates for review.

Words that aren't obscene, but have just become stale, and annoying, from overuse!

That list could get PRETTY LONG, though. And arouse more disagreement than consensus, I'm sure!

I'm all for banning "ding! ding!"

In all seriousness, I wish we had a yellow card/red card system. Strawman argument, yellow card. Unsolicited parenting advice, red card.

I think we should be grateful, flexible and really, really appreciative of the group
here and the Admins who deals with are wonkiness.

There is no thang like a free lunch at MRF *(:>* ymmv

Rudie *(:>*
