That pepsi truck demonstrates exactly why this wouldn't really work. You need to be a specific point in space for the illusion to look real. If you look at it from the wrong angle, it just looks wrong. Perspective illusions may be a fun idea for some media, but certainly not for a medium that moves, or a medium where the viewer is moving.
