Got 8 years out of the Whirlpool, which the repair guy said was pretty good for a newer washer. They don't build them like they used to. Not sure why the wife prefers the top loader, but she wouldn't even look at the front load ones. We got ours at a Sears Outlet. It has a small dent in the side, but they took about $300 off the regular price, and it has the same warranty as new. It doesn't spin at all, it feels like the tub is binding, that's why I think it is a bearing, which is a huge job. |
