Hmm, I have a Verizon 4S sitting around, I may have to try this. Do they have any cheap plans that don't expire for very minimal use?

They have pay as you go plans where you can load as little as $10 and that lasts for 120 days. If you add more money before the end of the 120 days, any funds you have roll over. The cost is 10¢ per minute and I think, but am no sure, that texts are 5¢ each. They also have several monthly plans, but those expire in 30 days.

On the pay go system, the more money you add, the less the per minute charge.

I see they have an $80 for a year card but it is only at resellers. Need to see if there is one in the twin cities.

I would imagine that troubleshooting some issues might be easier now that they fully support those phones?

Do you really have access to all Verizon towers just like on Verizon?

Native Verizon towers, yes. You will get charged more when roaming, when you are not on native Verizon towers, but Verizon coverage is so good, i don't think I have ever hit a roaming area in the four years or so I have been with PP.

Note, you will only get 3G data speeds on PP, just like on Verizon prepaid. No LTE, yet.
