That's why I've always liked the UK Mac magazines better. They don't just disseminate information. They usually have tutorials on how to actually use your Mac and various software packages. MacAddict used to be like that. They lost that focus many years ago though. I will always be thankful to MacAddict though for a tutorial they ran back in the 90s on how to use Usenet, and particularly MT Newswatcher, on the Mac. I had been using Outlook Express and Mozilla on Usenet, but they were clunky at best. I still use MT Newswatcher almost every day. It no longer runs on Mavericks, but I have a Parallels VM of SL whose sole purpose is to run MT Newswatcher. Re: MacWorld Magazine Is Toast - silvarios - 09-10-2014 bazookaman wrote: Yep.
