I downloaded Yosemite on a spare computer. Everything seems to work OK.
BUT ... I'm don't like it. Seems too pale and washed out and flat. Not as pleasant to use.

The shade of blue Apple used for the new Finder folder icons... well, to call it garrish would be an act of kindness.

Well, today I upgraded 3 of 5 Macs to Yosemite, above comments notwithstanding.
VLC doesn't work and was replaced with Mac Media Player. Super Duper was upgraded. No problems with the upgrade.

I guess eventually I'll get used to it. One Mac will be left at 10.6.8. I need the functionality of the Apple Fax Modem on 10.6.8.
