Sorry about the ambiguous statement. Resetting a polyfuse (polyswitch) just requires complete de-energizing for a few minutes. Re: Golfragnabbit ! Even PAST the usual time for purchasing AC (ie: out of regular warranty but, still within the AC period), I've seen at least one Apple Genius allow a customer to sign up for AC so that a repair was covered. I don't know the details, just something I overheard while in an Apple Store. |
