I couldn't agree more. But note that many were rental trucks. Also, bridges get posted for height, then the pavement beneath them is overlaid, often more than once, and the posting isn't updated. I got bit by that once in Chicago, scraping the roof sheet off my trailer like a peel-back can opener. As posted, I should have had six inches to spare. Even UPS rents trucks when business warrants it Professor.
