That looks like a lot of fun. The gymnasium you were in is awesome. I've never seen one like that before. The video was good but a little grainy. Is that the way the original video looked or did youtube degrade the quality? Is it possible to take a high quality picture rather than a video? Thanks for posting

They're $55 Quadcopters with the camera. They do fairly good job for the price point.

Buy a new lens. Camera adds 20 pounds.

Heh, looks like fun. I'd want one I could take outdoors.

It's meant for outdoors.

I've got great shots from my drone of my nephews trying to get their drone out of a tree.

(Drop the throttle when you get near a tree!)

I thought the cameras on those things pointed downward. The video appears to have the camera on the side. I'd like to find someone with one to fly over my backyard so I can get some good pictures so I can create a good map/layout of the yard.

The camera is underneath on center angled down at about 15-20 degrees.

Here's a nice test run and review of one in the desert:

I was actually surprised that the image is as good as it is, but I guess the lack of stabilization is not as much of a problem indoors.

The quad is very stable. Syma makes great gyro helis and it translates well to quads.

The video is blocky, the colors are way off and it's prone to "tearing." Just what you'd expect from a cheap Chinese spycam. Outdoors in bright daylight that's easier to detect than in a dark gym.
