Camera adds 20 pounds. Re: My first ever "Drone" video (shot with my new quad-copter)! - blooz - 01-09-2015 Heh, looks like fun. I'd want one I could take outdoors. I've got great shots from my drone of my nephews trying to get their drone out of a tree. (Drop the throttle when you get near a tree!) Re: My first ever "Drone" video (shot with my new quad-copter)! - rz - 01-09-2015 I thought the cameras on those things pointed downward. The video appears to have the camera on the side. I'd like to find someone with one to fly over my backyard so I can get some good pictures so I can create a good map/layout of the yard. Re: My first ever "Drone" video (shot with my new quad-copter)! - Grateful11 - 01-09-2015 The camera is underneath on center angled down at about 15-20 degrees. Here's a nice test run and review of one in the desert: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y93vzA-KRlM Re: My first ever "Drone" video (shot with my new quad-copter)! - Black - 01-09-2015 Grateful11 wrote: They're $55 Quadcopters with the camera. Syma makes great gyro helis and it translates well to quads. The video is blocky, the colors are way off and it's prone to "tearing." Just what you'd expect from a cheap Chinese spycam. Outdoors in bright daylight that's easier to detect than in a dark gym. |
