The worst (funny) bad name I ever encountered was the "Squat and Gooble". A small restaurant that was briefly in business here in our small town in Iowa. I guess it would have been worse if the sign panter had gotten the words out of order... When I'm in New York City I've been known to frequent KGB Bar and while I think it may have closed, Nikita on MacDougal Street was definitely more Nikita Khruschev than La Femme Nikita." If I opened a restaurant here in Ventura, I know where it would go, and what we'd sell, and even what we'd call it: Ernesto's Beach Pizza. Not offensive, but certainly an awful name, no? Re: Wurst name for a restaurant ever? - Ken Sp. - 08-25-2006 Once in Rockford. Il for a buddy's wedding, we past a place called "Tub o' Tips" I guess it was Beef tips. We also had a great burger stand nearby that was called "Murder Burger" it was decided that that was not PC so they had a contest for a new name--now it is REDRUM BURGER. Redrum-Murder selled backwards from the great thriller movie.
