I agree. I thought the article was written tongue-in-cheek.
Former Burberry CEO Angela Ahrendts, now raking in $70m a year leading every aspect of Apple Retail, and its style. Hopefully she'll dress Tim Cook better, too.
It was written that way. But people that truly care about fashion don't like spending a bunch of money. They get off on spending as little as possible for the coolest looks. The people that would spend big money on watches and such and such are concerned primarily about status.
