Somewhere around 01 or 02. Davemachine used to be the perpetual President of our local MUG. The web page listed a few links that might be useful to Mac users. I signed up and just never left.

The deals page must have been early 2000's for me, although I really can't remember. I do recall lurking on the forums for a while before creating a real username.

'98, killing time while working in a university computer lab over the summer. I think it was when the last of the clones were being sold/liquidated.

Probably the late 90s-early 2000s for me. I used to work with Petro at a Sarnoff MPEG-4 development spinoff before he went to work for Apple and we both used to post on the forum there.

Pretty sure it was 92-93 and I was looking to upgrade from my Mac Plus.. I remember the discussion about the IIvx on the site. First that it was 'cool', and then that Apple sucked for selling the better and cheaper Centris 650. Back then it was mostly a discussion site.. deals started by people emailing Dan a deal, and he would post it on the site.

I don't remember. I moved to Kauai in '97 onto Leimomi Street. I used that name to register. I may of learned of Dealmac through my membership in the Berkeley MUG before moving or possibly by shopping at SmallDog.
