He's not paying for the photograph so much as he's paying for this wonderful artist statement: “I see commonalities between humans and potatoes that speak to our relationship as individuals within a collective species. Generally, the life of a harvested potato is violent and taken for granted. I use the potato as a proxy for the ontological study of the human experience,” (Tongue)

Moon is an ostrich egg, ship is a goose egg, exhaust is fiber filling from a dog toy, stars are black foamcore with punched holes, spaceman is made of polymer clay, all held up by wire armature through the background.

Arch! You're giving away the photographer's secrets! Soon everyone will be photographers....

Too late, everybody already thinks they're a photographer.

Among my many oddities, is my oology (egg) collection. I have a sizeable collection of eggs from ostritch down to parakeet. I am NOT a wild bird egg collector, something which I find despicable. All of my eggs are from domesticated fowl (mostly from local farms) including, turkey, pheasant, peacock, pigeon, ducks, emus, etc.

Mine's autographed. I'm holding out for a million-six.
