Happy with Seahawks' day. Traded back for a total of 5 picks in the first 100 of a deep draft, plus got a sorely needed offensive lineman. Tomorrow should be interesting.

The Giants need to do a lot better with their picks than they have in recent years. Especially after Jerry Reese's cheap shot at Coughlin, at the press conference following Coughlin's dismissal. "Coaches have to work with the players they are given" was the gist of it. Yeah, Jerry: too bad he didn't turn your crap choices into gold.

Based on last years contracts the bong hit video cost Laremy Tunsil around $10 million dollars from his draft freefall.

Then during his press conference he admits he took cash from a coach at Ole Miss.. So he won't be popular on campus either.

Yeah, that will be a night he'll long remember (along with his agent)

He is in some kind of dispute with his step father. Dude needed to change his passwords. Why would you not change your passwords with that much money at stake?

Thank goodness the Dolphins took him. I can see Jerry Jones in the Cowboys strategy room getting ion a froth about this guy falling.

Taking a picture of yourself like this is not exactly helpful either.

I'd say he has reason to despise his stepfather if it turns out that he is behind the leaks. I'll bet stepdad will still try to cash in on the kid's back.

Re: NFL Draft Talk (spoilers) - Acer - 04-29-2016

So, when a college player gets drafted by a dumpster-fire team, like the ones that typically get the early picks, is he really as happy as he may appear? Are they just grateful to get drafted by anyone, or are they faking it? I mean, how genuine can that smile be when you are hoisting a Browns jersey?

Re: NFL Draft Talk (spoilers) - ka jowct - 04-29-2016

They can't all be thrilled, but being in the top 10 is still going to get them pretty good money. Then they have to hope that the team won't wreck their careers (e.g. David Carr) or give them 7 or 8 years of futility on mediocre teams. Goff should be worried, given that team's history with developing quarterbacks. Wentz ought to be happy with where he ended up.

I'd fake a smile to get paid to play for the Browns. In 4-5 years you can sign with another team. IMHO, that Browns WR that was drafted was faking his smile to fight back the tears.

Football gods, why do you hate me?

ESPN yackity yacks theorized that the image release was part of a blackmail attempt. Tunsil didn't do himself any favors being recorded.

Tunsil just declared that Ole Miss coaches gave him impermissible benefits. His coach who sat with him, comforted him as he slid, and defended him to the media is very thrilled for him.

With Mark Davis courting Las Vegas by putting down a $500 Million stadium pledge, I'm halfway not caring about the draft. If the NFL owners okayed that move, I would immediately no longer be a Raiders fan.

For what I would get as a top 10 selection, I don't care if my O-line is a bunch of girl scouts from the school for the blind. I could be injured in the first exhibition game, retired, and have millions to spend the next 70 years enjoying.
