St. Michaels is beautiful. We loved living on the Eastern Shore, but we were in a college town so it increased the odds of meeting people who thought more like we did. Oddly enough, I don't find the folks in Mississippi where my other brother now lives to be any more conservative than the folks on the MD Eastern Shore.
