If the (D) candidate was anyone else, I would probably vote for him/her and not Trump, but Hillary is fundamentally not an option for me.
In the end it doesn't matter for me. I live in Illinois. Although if you look at a heat map - it is a very red state by geography, the 3-4 most highly populated counties are blue and are dense with democrat machine voters who cast votes based on what they are told.
I am sorry, but Hillary is not a woman of the people nor looking to help up the working class. She is as bad and many ways worse than all of the other scumbag politicians.
My vote for President does not matter But I do enjoy the hypocrisy of a democrat claiming only republicans vote the party.

If HRC truly has Illinois sewn up and you're vote really "doesn't matter", then you are in a situation where you can make a protest vote or a third party vote without having to fear putting Trump in power. At least you will make your voice heard.

I know a conservative couple who will vote for Trump because he's not Clinton. So, it doesn't matter that he's not even qualified and that he's a xenophobic demagogue, Clinton is somehow worse.
That's NEVER been explained to me, but I suspect that the Trump supporters don't believe he will do the things he says he will, so instead of being dangerous he's seen as actually being safe. A loudmouth and nothing more.
And that, my friends, is exactly why comparisons to earlier fascists have relevancy.

Very well put. I don't think that at this moment Trump is as intrinsically evil as Hitler was, but I believe he is completely amoral, and could easily do evil. I think it's more likely that a Trump presidency would lead to unstable social and political conditions that would encourage the rise of a real Hitler. Bottom line, Trump gives me the creeps for what he is now and for the trend he represents.

That's what I was thinking. He's not going to invade Poland and send people to the gas chambers, but a nut like that with millions of nut supporters is liable to cause all kinds of trouble we can't even imagine.

I'm not going to dig into the anti-HC sentiment here - but if you honestly think Trump would be better for this country than HC, I truly do not understand what you want in a President.
