A friend recommended 'Doc Martin' a couple of years ago. We watched an episode or three. I thought it was interesting, but my wife, a physician (now retired) disliked the lead character, and especially his disrespectful office secretary. We gave up on it.

Doc Martin fans here. Last September we spent a day in Port Issac, Cornwall. Really cool.

I'm enjoying the first episode so far. It's like Northern Exposure but not as good.

My husband and I love Doc Martin. The show, that is. The Doc isn't exactly what one would call lovable.
