2999 out of 3000 calico cats are female (same for tortoiseshell). I will spare you all the lecture on X chromosome genetics and feline coat color.

Had some good success softening her up today. I got a reply from a neighbor who said that she was caring for the cat when a neighbor moved and asked her to feed it. It stopped coming around recently.
And is likely pregnant - GREAT!

I managed to grab troll kitty and get her to a sheltered place out of the rain. I draped a canvas tarp over an old small table and now she has a decent, dry defensible spot to rest for a bit.
I decided to name her after a troll... I pondered, what great trolls have I known? There is only one answer...
MACKILLER!! So her name is Troll Kitty or MACKILLER!! (mac for short)

Glad you got her into a Yurt, of sorts.
If she does have kittens, I'll bet they will be super cute and easy to get adopted.
