That is rule #1
Rule #2 is if the wife is wrong, refer to rule #1

Actually,

The wife always believes she is right. Ever try and change someone's beliefs? Good luck with that. Let it go. Confusedurrender:

It's ironic that they lack Focus.

One of my Buicks was built with the wrong antenna. It's the one from a full sized car. It happens.

My MIL's last car before she passed was a Buick... w/ two wrong mirrors, each painted differently; neither correct for the model. Thought they must've been in a hurry to get it out of the factory that day. Dealer offered to make it right, but FIL thought it made a good conversation piece. I gonna take a wild guess and say that these types of factory mistakes are fairly common.

Absolutely. The goal is to get the auto out of the building. I can assure you, they went to grab an antenna out of the bin, the bin was empty, and they found more antennas in some other bin. You can also see variances from different plants when one plant runs out of a part, but not the others.

The base model interior on that same car is different from the Fremont CA plant, than the east coast and Canadian plants. No one knows why. Some of the Canadian cars got Chevy 12 bolt rear ends for a while in '69

I've seen this with Toyota too, differences on the Camry between those assembled in Japan vs USA. Need to give the VIN to the parts guy when ordering. Found out that Japan/US have different hoods, when I needed a windshield sprayer nozzle, the nozzle for the wrong hood was aimed different and had a different number of jets in it.
