I once sent in a starter check (no personal info imprinted) from a defunct checking account. I wonder if they got charged a returned-check fee?

Given the tenor of the times, I think I’d be hesitant to send anything remotely resembling a ‘foreign substance’ to any recipient identified as a political entity. Particularly one that might be both humorless and vindictive.
