Start with phone support, not chat -- act super nice, be pleasant and be a little "apple" stupid, with lots of "Im just not sure" "im really sorry for wasting your time on this, thanks" "I had no idea" "they were so awesome" etc, etc I have found that the sales peeps in Apple stores can also be very forgiving -- id go there first... if you have a apple store nearby, setup an appointment... and all the same advice above. Re: How are the new (current) Air Pods? - rich in distress - 09-12-2019 Got it. Thanks!! Re: How are the new (current) Air Pods? - Wags - 09-14-2019 Doesn't BT add compression? Not that anyone under the age of 60 would notice since they are fine with MP3s. Re: How are the new (current) Air Pods? - Jerry® - 09-14-2019 Wags wrote: I am 47 and I am NOT fine with mp3s. Give me AAC, FLAC, etc. I have a friend tho who thinks mp3s are the best thing ever and (he's a DJ) that DJ's ONLY use mp3s (which is total BS). Re: How are the new (current) Air Pods? - Wags - 09-14-2019 My pet peeve with Apple buds, and most others as well, is they don't color code the ear pcs so you can easily tell which is L or R. I mark mine with a sharpie but it seems to fade out over time. Form over function at all costs seems to be the new Apple mantra. Thank God I'm not alone, for me its either AIFF or Apple Lossless. |
