My warehouse doesn't carry any Egg Beaters products - just Kirkland Egg Whites. Re: Instacart question - jdc - 04-23-2020 wurm wrote: I tried that last weekend. One of the stores was wiped out of pretty much everything in that section except for real eggs. The other place (where Instacart would be shopping) had a line of people out front being let it a few at a time. I parked, saw the line, then left. If I knew they had them, I'd have happily waited, but I didn't want to wait for a half hour only to discover they had none. It might have been a timing thing, but I don't know. Maybe not on a weekend? Re: Instacart question - NewtonMP2100 - 04-23-2020 ....so no way to get....insta........gratification.....?? I think every store should have a social media account (like twitter) where they can post that day what popular items are not in stock, that way no nobody needs to waste time going out for TP if there just is none to be had. Re: Instacart question - wurm - 04-23-2020 Well, I just placed the order. Surprisingly, it's supposed to be delivered today or tomorrow. We'll see what happens. If it all goes as hoped, they may themselves a new regular customer. Re: Instacart question - bazookaman - 04-23-2020 I ordered some stuff from Sprouts (they were the only game in town for tofu believe it or not) and they do their deliveries through instacart. I 've used Whole Foods delivery through amazon but instacart was new to me. But they gave me 1 free try so I gave it a go. It worked out really well! I don't know how much more I paid. Nothing seemed unreasonable. AND no one had to leave the house. So I call it a win. Kirkland ice cream bars are nigh on irresistible… I didn’t need to know that. Re: Instacart question - Racer X - 04-24-2020 EggBeaters-type products freeze REALLY well. Just saying. My ex-wife and I purchased the Kirkland Signature version, and immediately froze most of them. They thaw just fine. Doesn't change the texture at all. |
