$1999 is $70 cheaper than Apple refurb.

I have no idea where a 14" MBP is supposed to fit in this the lineup.

The "good" 13" MBP is only $200 less than this.

I'd like to see a 14" MBP replace the 13" and new 15" MBA between the Pro's. ( I know that part is never gonna happen)
Coming next year...but ARM chip.

perhaps, but peeps have been talking about a 14" forever. Since the 13" was just updated... maybe a year. or more.

They shoulda done it right now when the fixed the 13" with the new keyboard

At least you could have justified the price gap over the MBA.

Apple needs to get you to move to the 13" ARM Mac, so they kept some of the nice bonus features (such as better speakers etc) from the current 16".

Apple does not need to satisfy the 16" users - they will be some of the last to convert to ARM, so they needed to be good.

Well, I'm hoping it's the long-awaited '14" screen in a 13" form factor' MacBook Pro.
