I can see that, but I think a lot of his supporters have rationalized his behavior in terms of "ends justifies the means". They rationalize that none of us perfect and so Trump does some unethical things like we all do, but overall the things he does leads to better moral outcomes (by their value systems) so the unethical behavior is forgivable.
