That's a serious charging system issue. Once again, if they had good charging systems, they would last a long time.

The 2200 VA unit was a rack mount. Never heard of a recall on it, but given that there was a change in techs working there about that time it is possible the notice was overlooked. The other problem APC units were various sizes, mostly non-rack mount, from 700 to 1500 VA.
