Ah, now it all makes sense. This video wasn't up last night.

Thanks for "reposting" that. I missed it the first time. Glad I got to see it.

[quote BigGuynRusty][quote Fred_Also]I like the way PCs pants fit - looks like there a foot too long and bunched up around his feet. Look at the 1st of the video where they do a long shot.

That is how pants are supposed to fit.
Notice all three actors pants fit the same way.
Prevents the "High Water" look that you geeks sport all the time.

BGnR
If I see you wearing pants that fit that way I'll snicker at you. PC's pants are too long on purpost to look frumpy. Mens trousers are hemmed a lot longer today than they used to be and it's an unfortunate trened.

It is not a "Trened", been that way since I started wearing long pants over five decades +++ ago.
Go to a real tailor, he/she will redo your highwater pants.

BGnR
Hmmmm..., still looking for a definition of "Purpost".

BGnR is right that tailored pants should be on the long side. Correctly tailored pants should have a "slight" break in front, tapered from instep to heel. However, I too think PCs break is excessive and makes them look more like rack pants than tailored. How's that for wishy-washy?

Re: New Mac PC Commercial...and this one is funny...imho - Don Kiyoti - 02-06-2007

TLB is correct: "Slight break." It's the "full break" or more that bugs me. I see many entertainers & politicians who presumably wear tailored suits with a pile of pant leg around their shoes. Not as bad as PC Guy, but still sloppy to my eye. It is the style of the day however. I much prefer the look of suit pants from the 40s & 50s that hit the shoe with little or no break, and long pleats that didn't puff out around the pockets.

And when you have to resort to picking on typos to support your argument, you've lost.

By the way, the commercial is funny but I don't like Mac Guy's outfit either.

Could not be more correct

Sorry, wasn't picking, I thought that is how you communicated, was trying to make you feel at home.
