Found free editor that looks very good. It is Komodo Edit 4.0.

I am installing it now to check all the features. It is not IDE but might be better than plain text editor.

Zend Studio is maybe the best IDE, but it's $$$.

There's also Eclipse for PHP, which is free, but kind of clunky (JavaGUI) for my tastes.
