This is closer to the truth than most other conjectures, There isn't a judge in this country with the balls to call him out and he knows this.

I doubt that we are talking years in jail here. This would be a slap on the wrist amount of time, IF it even happens it will be a few weeks. Won't be an insurrection of any consequence in such a short amount of time, then Trump will be out -- and anyhow, the yahoos will be waiting for the election results to see if they have to bother.

I’ve known over a dozen Federal judges. There are more than a handful who would throw him in jail. Note how careful he was to get the classified documents case assigned to Cannon in FL, who is totally in the tank for him. Sure, there are personal security issues; not a deal-breaker, IMHO.

If I'm Trump and I lose the election. Nothing is stopping anyone from exacting justice upon me. He keeps wanting to delay delay, or so we believe, but he'd be better off having it all adjudicated before the election while he at least still has the House and SCOTUS combined.

Somebody please drop him off in Fargo...... the woodchipper awaits.

The Orange Menace, that is, not the judge he's attacking.

What F*ing nerve. And that’s despite the fact a good portion of his base has no idea who that was.

That's the "Ha Ha" guy from the Simpsons.

To me, this doesn't sound so much like a dare as it does bluster for his base to reinforce a key narrative that he wants them to believe - that they are being persecuted by commie/traitors and that, he, their savior-king, is being especially persecuted to bring him down. Their victimization is his victimization and vice versa, therefore anything that victimizes him, victimizes them.

But notice he didn't throw himself into the lions den. For all the nasty crap in those statements, he didn't actually go against the judge's gag order. I don't think he is desperate enough to gamble on challenging the gag order in a clear and unambiguous way. He's an expert at walking right up to the line and smugly dangling his foot over it without touching down, so that's what I think is likely to keep happening - at least for a while.

I'm ok with a couple decades in the quarry on Robben Island for him.

This.

Correct.

He dances around it just enough to let MAGAts think he did, from the He Tells It Like It Is dept.

They rejoice, thinking he done something great, something perfect, something the most perfect and beautiful never done before.

And they cheer.
