I'm not sure the epic entertainment value (and chances of nuclear holocaust) is worth it, but I'm kind of hoping before the clown car empties, Majorie Taylor Greene gets appointed our representative to the UN.

That would track. He's already put Elise Stefanik in that role. I'm sure she'll make us proud.

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) threw his support behind Kash Patel, President-elect Trump’s nominee to head the FBI, calling him an “America First patriot.”

In a post on X replying to the announcement, Johnson congratulated Patel on his nomination.

“Kash Patel has extensive experience in national security and intelligence,” he wrote. “He is an America First patriot who will bring much-needed change and transparency to the FBI.”

Johnson will not get a vote in Patel’s nomination.

For anyone who was unaware, this is the guy's logo (the dollar sign is no accident)...

...and this it the calibre of what he peddles (trump is a "king")...

Wait, isn't Kash Patel a criminal who was pardoned by CFDT at the end of his last term, or am I thinking of someone else?

Kash doesn't have a record yet.

You might be thinking if Dinesh D'Souza.

Or Bannon, Manafort, Kushner....

Re: Kash Patel to direct FBI - JoeH - 12-02-2024

That is yet. Just very close to some questionable activity at the end of CFDT's time in office. That includes the questioning of the election results and the back channel with Giuliani and Ukraine.

Yes, that's the one.

Please use the appropriate horrorifics (typo, but I'm keeping it).

Convicted Felon Dinesh D'Souza.
