It sounded oddly like Trump was actually thinking when he recently said he didn't think Putin wanted peace. I mean, duh, but at least it's a little sign of contact with reality.

Sometimes things cannot be fixed while staying within the bounds of the law. My question is, when is it morally correct to break the law and how does that evaluation happen? Perhaps it doesn’t and the winner writes the history book.

Give me a break. The only reason Trump did this was to emphasize his racism, make it more difficult for non-english speakers to understand government publications by eliminating multilingual versions, and signal to his followers that they should denigrate people who are not native english speakers.

Yes, I agree, completely racism based.
However, I think too many folks believe they never have to put in the time to learn English. It's the "lingua franca" that unites us and should be a common bond.

There is a point of diminishing returns; where foreign language accommodations can reach unreasonable levels for printed materials*.
I've received printed documents translated into 15-20 foreign languages; some languages I've never heard of.
*Online translations can be significantly more efficient.

Indeed. 4 years, no indictment after inciting an insurrection plus numerous other charges against CFDT. Pretty obvious pathway, imo. 4 years, no action from the Justice Department at all.
